Staff use ChatGPT or similar tools with personal accounts. No official, approved AI tool is provided to staff. You don’t know which browser extensions or apps include AI. Using VPNs to reach foreign tools is common. You see text, translations or code that look AI-made but were never declared. Teams pay for AI tools personally or outside procurement. There is no written policy on AI use. You have never asked staff which tools they use.
